Meet Clifford-Lewis Private Wealth
OUR STORY
We're your wealth partners
We’re not financial advisors by accident. Our team at Clifford-Lewis Private Wealth sees our work as a calling. We have the privilege of helping people do more with their money.
It’s not a charge that we take lightly.
We want our clients to be educated on their finances so they can live a better quality of life and make an impact on the things they care about.
Pat Clifford, our founder, left a long career as a senior executive in the oil and gas industry to work in financial advising. It was an intentional decision to pursue what he felt called to do; help people with their finances. Now, he, along with partner Tyler Lewis, work with clients from all walks of life. From those just starting to professionals who are preparing for retirement.
When you get to know us, you’ll find that our team is community-focused. We’re involved in churches and civic organizations because what happens to our neighbors matters to us. And that’s precisely how we run our firm—focused on you and your life so that you can concentrate on the things that are most important to you.

The Forbes ranking of Top Next-Generation Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative data, rating thousands of wealth advisors born in or after 1980. Advisors are interviewed by telephone and in person to evaluate service models, investing process, experience levels and integrity. Additional factors considered include compliance record, client retention, revenues produced for their firms and assets managed. Wealth Management Team FAQs
What Is the Difference Between a Financial Advisor and a Wealth Manager?
While the terms are often used interchangeably, there can be important differences. A financial advisor may provide guidance on specific areas such as investments, retirement planning, or insurance. A wealth manager typically takes a more comprehensive approach, helping coordinate multiple aspects of a client's financial life, including investment management, retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, estate planning considerations, and legacy planning.
At Clifford-Lewis Private Wealth, we believe effective wealth management goes beyond investments. It starts with understanding your goals, values, and priorities, then building a personalized strategy designed to support the life you want to live and the legacy you hope to create.
How Do Wealth Management Services Work?
Wealth management is an ongoing process designed to help align your financial decisions with your long-term goals. Rather than focusing on a single financial need, wealth management brings together various aspects of your financial life into a coordinated strategy.
At Clifford-Lewis Private Wealth, our process begins with getting to know you, your family, and what matters most to you. Through our Wealth Navigator process, we help identify goals, evaluate opportunities and risks, develop personalized recommendations, implement strategies, and monitor progress over time. As your circumstances evolve, your plan evolves with you, ensuring your financial strategy remains aligned with your objectives.
What Should I Look for When Choosing a Financial Advisor in Tyler, TX?
Choosing a financial advisor is an important decision that can have a lasting impact on your financial future. When evaluating advisors in Tyler, TX, consider factors such as experience, professional credentials, communication style, and the advisor's commitment to understanding your unique goals and circumstances.
Look for an advisor who takes a personalized approach rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions. It can also be helpful to work with a team that provides comprehensive planning services and values long-term relationships. Most importantly, choose someone you trust to listen, provide thoughtful guidance, and help you navigate financial decisions with confidence.
Who Benefits from Comprehensive Financial Planning?
Comprehensive financial planning can benefit individuals and families at many stages of life. Whether you're building wealth, preparing for retirement, navigating a business transition, caring for aging parents, supporting children or grandchildren, or planning your legacy, a comprehensive financial plan can help bring clarity and direction to important financial decisions.
Many business owners, retirees, professionals, and multi-generational families find value in having a coordinated strategy that addresses investments, retirement planning, tax considerations, risk management, and estate planning goals. By looking at the bigger picture, comprehensive planning helps ensure the various pieces of your financial life work together to support what matters most to you and your family.
